To-Go Salads!

Written by:  Jason

Starting today we have To-Go Salads.
Packaged with a matching vinaigrette, our salads will be made fresh daily and entirely from Farmers' Market produce!

For our first mixed salad we offered a mix of French Garden and Paul's Produce lettuces, sunflower sprouts, carrot, cabbage, broccoli flowers, herbs, and packaged with a pear-pluot vinaigrette (made from dried fruits).

If you have any suggestions for what you'd like to see in our salads, feel free to comment on Facebook or Twitter!!

Loving this early spring season produce! (even though most farmers' still want more rain)

Beet Soup

Written by:  Jason

Beet Soup, aka. Borscht, is one of those soups that's a combination of sweet and savory. Beets, great for the body, are full of antioxidants. Recent studies have shown beets increase blood flow to the brain.

Beet Soup can be eaten cold or hot and recipes date back to medieval times. This batch has been made with some of our Roasted Vegetable Stock to provide a variety of background flavors.

Physis will have Beet Soup, along with a heirloom braised greens soup & more for sale on Tuesday morning in Petaluma!
